The Paul Ricard The Castellet track, one of the longest of the F1 season.

Being 5.8km long, the Paul Ricard race track is one of the longest of the F1 season. Similarly to Spa-Francorchamps or Silverstone, this slightly above-average length gives variety to the sport and offers pleasure and spectacle to the drivers and spectators alike. To achieve this, studies were conducted to adapt the track to the demands of F1 racing, both on a technical and sporting level to give the drivers a chance to express their art. This was done without compromising the original layout and maximise security. On this latter point, the Paul Ricard track is a worldwide reference.

A renovated race track for the safety of drivers

In 2019, changes were put in place at the pitlane and on the track itself. Since it has been completely resurfaced prior to last year’s race, other renovations were completed over the winter to remove uneven patches in certain curves. Regarding the pitlane, changes were introduced to improve the safety of drivers.
